FOOD SUPPLEMENT WITH VITAMINS:
LIVSANE Duo Vital D3 + K2 combines vitamin D3 and K2 in a food supplement. The contained vitamins make an important contribution to the heath maintenance in all ages, e.g.:
• Vitamin D and K contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.
• Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function.
• Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system
• Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting.
Vitamin D can be formed by the body itself with regular exposure to sunlight. This self-production is not always sufficient due to various factors e.g. solar radiation in autumn and winter months, too short stays outdoors, age-related changes in demand etc.
Vitamin K belongs to the fat-soluble vitamins like vitamin D and occurs in two forms: Vitamin K1 (Phylloquinone), which is primarily formed in green leafy vegetables and can be absorbed via food as well as vitamin K2 (menaquinones), which is primarily formed by microorganisms e.g. from bacteria in the human intestinal flora.
