It is recommended not to take Heartburn Acute Stomach Tablets at the same time as other drugs but maintain an interval of at least 2 hours between taking a stomach tablet and taking any other medicine or drug in order to avoid absorption and efficacy being negatively affected.

Resorption of specific antibiotics, such as quinolone or tetracycline, is lowered by calcium so that their efficacy becomes inadequate. If an antibiotic is prescibed by the doctor, the patient should ask the doctor for advice which antacid that contains no calcium can alternatively be used. Other drugs the resorption of which may be restricted by products containing calcium include biphosphonate, levothyroxin, diltiazem, verapamil, thiazide diuretics and preparations containing digitalis glycosides, lithium or aluminium.

If drugs  against high blood pressure are taken (calcium channel blockers or any drug containing thiazide) a doctor or prescription chemist should be asked before also taking Heartburn Acute Stomach Tablets.

During pregnancy or breastfeeding, Heartburn Acute Stomach Tablets should only be taken after consultation with a doctor.

Large quantities of proteins containing calcium (e.g. dairy products, dietary supplements with calcium) should not be ingested at the same time as the Heartburn Acute Stomach Tablets.
