Pregnancy Test Strips - Early Detection

The Pregnancy Test – Early Detection (1 pcs. or 2 pcs.) can easily be applied up to 6 days before the missed period (=5 days before the expected period), in order to test for pregnancy.

  1. Open the pouch shortly before testing and remove the test device.
  2. Pull out the cap and expose the absorbent tip to urine for at least 5 seconds. The sample can also be tested in a clean, dry container. To do this there has to be enough urine in the container to put the absorbent tip completely into the urine for 5 seconds.
  3. Re-cap the device for hygienic reasons and place the test device on a flat surface. Make sure the window side is up. Wait until the pink lines show up. Read the result within 5 minutes. Please note!: Do not read results after more than 5 minutes.

Read results:

  • One band: You may assume to be “not pregnant”.
  • Two bands: You may assume to be “pregnant”.
  • No band (in control panel „C“): Test result “invalid”.

Follow-up actions:

  •  If the result is “not pregnant“ and your period is late, repeat the test one day later. If the test is still negative, consult your gynaecologist.
  • If the result is “pregnant“, please consult your gynaecologist to confirm your pregnancy (avoid potential risks to harm the embryo such as e. g. x-ray).
  • If the result is “invalid“, the absorbent tip probably was not thoroughly wet. Please repeat the testing with a new test.
  • The colour intensity of the test bands may vary, due to low hCG concentration at the beginning of pregnancy.
  • Beside pregnancy, some illnesses and spontaneous abortions may lead to increased levels of hCG in urine, which may be detected by the test.
  • Menopausal urine may similarly cause false positives.
  • Low concentration of hCG in a very early stage of pregnancy can give a negative result. In this case, another specimen should be obtained at least 48 hours later and tested.
  • Sterility treatments, based on hCG, may cause false results. Please consult your gynaecologist.
  • If you repeat the test several times and results are contradictory, please consult your gynaecologist.
  • Please see the instruction leaflet for further details.
  • Passing the urine over the absorbent tip (e.g. in a cup) may cause malfunction of the test.
  • Do not read results after more than 5 minutes. A negative result, which may change to be
positive after 5 minutes, is not an accurate result.

Keep away from direct sunlight and store in a dry place inside the closed pouch at a temperature between 2° C und 30° C, not longer than for the given durability of 36 months. Perform the test within one hour after opening. DO NOT FREEZE.
