Ovulation Test Strips

1. Collect fresh urine sample by using a disposable container which is clean and dry.Allow the test strip, urine specimen and/or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (15-30°C) prior to testing. Do not open pouches until ready to perform the assay.
2. Remove the test strip from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.
3. Immerse the test strip in the urine sample for at least 5 seconds with the arrow end pointing toward the urine. Do not immerse the strip above the printed MAX line.
4. Take the strip out and lay the strip flat or leave the test strip in the urine specimen as long as the strip is not immersed above the MAX line.
5. Wait for pink-colored lines to appear. Read result within 3 to 10 minutes. Do not read result after 10 minutes.

• Do not carry out the tests with the initial morning urine as the concentration may be too high and this may distort the result.
• LH concentrations vary from one person to the next and from one cycle to the next. Tip: You will achieve the best results if you carry out each test at the same time of day.
• Try to drink less than usual 2 hours before carrying out the test as otherwise the hormone levels in the urine may be diluted and this may distort the result.

• Passing the urine over the absorbent tip (e.g. in a cup) may cause malfunction of the test.
• Do not read results after more than 10 minutes. 
• Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line failure. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new test. If the problem persists, please contact your pharmacy.

Keep away from direct sunlight and store in a dry place inside the closed pouch at a temperature between 2° C und 30° C, not longer than for the given durability of 36 months. Perform the test within one hour after opening. DO NOT FREEZE.
